The Shadowman
The Shadowman is a vision that haunts Simon throughout the entirety of the film, revealing himself when least expected. It's a phastasmagorical reminder of what Simon is to become.

EXPLORATION
The Shadowman was meant to represent Simon at his worst. Terrified, angry, and beyond mutated. Initially, the idea was far more loose, but as the narrative strengthened, so too did Mark's idea of the Shadowman. Simon's looming shadow.
3D MODEL
The Shadowman was probably the hardest model for me to create. Since he was based on Simon's appearance in act three, I had to study a multitude of photos to find the details that stood out to me. Chunks of flesh, skulls, random teeth, veins, blisters, all of that mattered and needed to line up with Simon's mutated outfit.
